Welcome to La Taverna, a family-owned Italian restaurant and takeaway at Luton Market Hall! Founded in 2023 by Jorge and Vanessa, La Taverna serves up delicious and healthy Italian food sure to tantalize your taste buds!
Founders Vanessa & her husband Jorge came to the UK to enjoy the rich multicultural environment of the country and contribute to it with their diverse, colourful, background as Italian and Latin american couple.

After having lived and spread their culture in Hungary with a catering specialized in Italian homemade food, they decided to move to Luton to look for new adventures.

Do you want to try an Italian Meatball Sub? Cuzzetiello is the answer!
The Cuzzetiello makes its debut in Luton, La Taverna. The famous and renown Neapolitan sandwich, which recalls the flavours of a traditional “meatball sub” has arrived to the Luton market, finally to be enjoyed by passing citizens!
The sandwich consists of the end part of a rustic homemade bread loaf, which is typically stuffed with either sausage & vegetables, tomato sauce with meatballs, eggplant parmigiana, or a stew of beef and potatoes.
